What you get
Reception works from a handful of screens, most of them in the Front desk group of the menu, and each of them keeps a record that an owner or an accountant can read later.
- A visitor register with check-in and check-out times, the host, and the ID type with only the last four digits of the ID number.
- Day and night passes issued with a reference that reception can check, marked paid, unpaid or waived, with refunds and the day's takings.
- A hot-desk board that shows who is in, which desks are free, and lets staff seat or move someone.
- A virtual-office post log, with government and legal post flagged and listed first.
How it works on the screens
Visitor entries
Press Check in a visitor and the form takes the visitor's name, phone, email and company, who they came to see, the purpose, and the branch and floor. The visitor is marked in from the moment you save, and a Check out button closes the visit later. The ID section is optional. It records the ID type and keeps only the last four digits of the number. The host is told on WhatsApp when the visitor arrives.
Day passes
Press Issue a day pass on the Day passes screen to issue a day pass or a night pass. Each pass gets a reference that reception can check, and is marked paid, unpaid or waived. A paid pass can be refunded, and the screen shows the day's takings.
Atrium charges ₹20 for each paid pass after the first 20 in a calendar month. A pass is counted on the day it is for, and unpaid, waived and refunded passes are not counted. A seat used on a pass is charged as a pass and never as a desk. See the pricing page.
An operator sells 30 paid passes in one month. The first 20 are free and the other 10 are charged at ₹20 each, so the passes cost ₹200 that month.
Hot desks
Hot desks is today's board: who is in, which desks are free, and a way to seat or move someone. Hot-desk fair use, in the Workspace group, sets how many days a month each hot-desk membership includes. Members see their own desk under My hot desk in the portal.
Virtual office and post
Virtual office keeps plans by purpose (mail only, GST, MCA, or GST + MCA) and your premises, with each address proof and an expiry warning on it. From your own data it generates a document pack: a No Objection Certificate (NOC), a licence agreement and an address-proof cover sheet. VO post logs the post received for each client, and lists government and legal post first so that it is not missed.
Atrium charges ₹50 a month for each active virtual-office client, counted once however many of your addresses they hold. The pass and virtual-office charges count inside the ₹2,499 monthly minimum, not on top of it.
What it doesn't do
- No camera capture. Atrium takes no picture of the visitor or the ID, and keeps only the ID type and the last four digits.
- No door access. A check-in or a pass opens no door and prints nothing: there is no door, turnstile, Wi-Fi or printer integration.
- Public pages are not self-service. The pages for buying a day pass online, booking a tour and enquiring are switched on by Sehsaa on request, and taking payment online needs your own Razorpay account.
- No Android or iOS app. Reception works in a web browser.
- No email or SMS. Messages go out on WhatsApp, and their wording is fixed.
- No e-signature, and no registration filing. Atrium generates the virtual-office documents, but it does not file a client's GST or MCA registration or check that a document will be accepted.
- No old register. The visitor register starts empty on go-live day. Keep your old book or sheet; the five-day checklist explains what does and does not move.
Where to go next
The guides to floor maps and bookings and GST invoicing cover the rest of a day at the desk, every feature is listed on the features page, and the price list is on the pricing page. Moving from another system? See switching to Atrium.
