What you get
One picture of the space, and one rule for bookings: nothing can be booked twice.
- A live map of every floor. Desks, cabins and rooms show as occupied, on notice, available or blocked, so reception and the owner read the same status.
- Bookings that cannot overlap. The database refuses a booking that overlaps another on the same desk, cabin or room. Bookings can be moved and cancelled.
- A room grid. Room availability shows a day grid of every meeting room.
- Cabins by the seat. A private cabin is made of real seats and can be let whole or by the seat.
- Members book rooms themselves, from the member portal in a browser. Before booking, a member sees what the booking will cost once their included hours are used up.
How it works on the screens
Setting up the space
The setup wizard creates your first branches, floors, desks, cabins and rooms in one guided flow. After that, each part has a screen in the Workspace group of the menu.
- Branches: unlimited, each with its address, state and own GSTIN.
- Floors: the live map of each floor.
- Floor layout: a drag-and-drop editor for placing desks and rooms on the floor.
- Seats & rooms: lists of desks and rooms, with bulk creation and a spreadsheet round trip.
- Cabins: a cabin made of real seats, let whole or by the seat.
- Event spaces: rooms set up as event venues, with add-ons.
The spreadsheet round trip
- Download a template, or your current inventory, from Seats & rooms.
- Edit it in Excel and upload it.
- Read the diff of what will change, and press Apply.
Nothing is applied on upload, and a desk that is missing from the file is never deleted. The round trip covers desks and rooms.
Taking and moving bookings
In the Front desk group, Bookings handles desks, cabins and meeting rooms. Meeting rooms are booked by the slot: 30 minutes unless the room has been given a different slot length. If a booking would overlap another on the same desk, cabin or room, Atrium refuses it and asks for another slot, desk or room. A booking can be moved or cancelled later, and Room availability shows the day's grid of every room.
Members book rooms in the portal, under Book a room and My bookings. Booking confirmations and cancellations go out on WhatsApp, included in the price.
How the map relates to what Atrium charges
Atrium is priced per occupied desk, and the floor map is the same record. A desk is occupied when a member holds it under an agreement, as a confirmed or checked-in contract booking, at the month-end count. That count runs on the last day of the month at 23:50 IST.
- An empty desk costs nothing.
- In a cabin, only the let seats count.
- A seat used on a day or night pass is charged as a pass, not as a desk.
- A bookable meeting room costs ₹200 per room per month.
The full price list is on the pricing page. To turn the map into an occupancy percentage, see coworking occupancy rate: how to calculate it.
A cabin has 6 seats. Four are let to members under agreements and two are empty. On the floor map, the four show as occupied and the two as available. At the month-end count, 4 seats count as occupied desks, and the 2 empty seats cost nothing.
What it doesn't do
- No floor-plan picture upload. You place desks and rooms yourself in Floor layout. There is no screen for uploading a picture of your plan; Sehsaa support can attach one on request.
- No calendar sync. Atrium does not connect to Google or Outlook calendars.
- No door access. There is no integration with doors, turnstiles or Wi-Fi, so a booking opens nothing.
- No Android or iOS app. Staff and members use Atrium in a web browser.
- No email or SMS. Booking messages go out on WhatsApp, and their wording is fixed.
- A narrow spreadsheet import. The round trip covers desks and rooms, not members, agreements or invoices. Sehsaa loads those for you, free, for spaces of up to 250 desks and 100 member companies.
Where to go next
Moving a space off spreadsheets? Read the five-day checklist and switching to Atrium. The next guides are GST invoicing and the front desk, and every feature is listed on the features page.
Floor map and booking questions
Can two people book the same desk or room at the same time?
No. The database refuses a booking that overlaps another on the same desk, cabin or room, so the second booking is refused and the person is asked to pick another slot, desk or room.
Can I let a private cabin by the seat?
Yes. A cabin is made of real seats, and it can be let whole or by the seat. Only the seats that are let count towards Atrium's bill.
Can I upload a picture of my floor plan?
There is no screen for that. You place desks and rooms yourself in the Floor layout editor, and Sehsaa support can attach a floor-plan picture on request.
